2010?
Has anyone ever tried to replace hose for this kit? Ours has just sprung 3 x leaks 😱
£70+ to buy new

I have. And I've replaced a faulty pump with one of my choice. It isn't difficult.

Thanks
Where did you get the hose for it please

I’ve got a complete, never used hose, pump, and connector in my garage if you want to make me an offer for it.

I repaired both of mine and used the aqua roll blue hose which is a lot stronger than the supplied whale hose ,hardest bit was sourcing the clip to retain the hose to fitting . Don't know why Bailey use this instead of a normal filler like on the advance range.

I thought I’d seen one replaced with standard hose and a jubilee clip

I replaced mine with normal food grade hose and jubilee clip when mine sprung several leaks whilst on site. I think I had used it three or four times. Whale were pretty apathetic about replacing it under warranty insisting (initially) I send the whole lot back to them for their perusal. After threatening them with a social media apocalypse they replaced it. In my opinion they are an overpriced piece of rubbish and I wish my Bailey had a conventional water inlet. I think Bailey fit this so that you can alternatively fill from an Aquaroll with an equally expensive external pump. I wish another manufacturer (someone like ALDE) would produce some of these parts so we could see the back of Whale altogether. Even their Shurflo pumps seem to expire regularly with people buying spare units just in case of being stuck on site without water.

Trouble is when they go they don't just spring one leak, they become a hose suitable for irrigating a flower bed!

So true - in the end I had about two feet of flat hose from the motor home then connected a real ( not reel ) food grade hose

I told Whale I had thrown away their irrigation hose and used a extension hose I had with me in the van when on site. It was at that point they told me they could not replace it under warranty unless I sent the whole lot back. I pointed out their rubbish piece of kit had almost ruined my holiday break and they should reconsider their decision. Only when I threatened the social media apocolypse did they relent and send a replacement. Even then they would only send it to my dealer and not directly to me. My dealer was astonished that I had managed to convince Whale to replace the Aquasource. Even the hose connector on these units is cheap Chinese rubbish. £70 odd quids worth and not fit for purpose.

Hi

Old post I know, but, can you please tell me what the retaining clip is called, size, and where you got it. My hose is tearing and I need to cut a bit off but I have seen this strange clip.

Thanks

Just a Jubilee Clip just the correct size for the diameter of the hose. Too big a clip and you will not fit it inside the casing.

Thanks. Yeah. I have seen the original clip which I’m not familiar with. I wondered what you used as there is so little space and that will be why they have used this special clip. It doesn’t have the bulk that a a jubilee clip has. It must’ve very tight with a jubilee clip
