I'm a newbie
ok I know people on here will say it was too quick but we soon discovered what we liked and what we didnt like, we wanted something bright inside with light woods and furnishings and soon realised that we would have to go for a recent model as most of the older ones had darker woods and were just not what we wanted, so we upped our budget and found what we think is the perfect van,
the advice given on here was invaluable in our search, with lots of things to look out for and try out,, i couldnt count how many pretend showers I have had :giggle: and pretend toilet antics.

as always the one we wanted was just above our adjusted budget and true to form the french were not going to budge on the price, but we did get a few extras thrown in instead, so we dug deep under the bed to find a bit of extra cash.

Thanks to all on here that gave us good advice and shared their experiences it was a great help, we will maybe meet a few of you on our travels around Europe, we cant wait to pick it up and get going.

Hi Minxy its a Burstner priviledge 2018 like new condition and as I said ticks all our boxes
Really pleased for you.

If you had the time and the inclination, and if Jim thought it was a good idea, you could write an article to appear in the monthly magazine about the advice you received and how (if it did) change your thinking and thoughts and how the guide was useful.

Would be a good memory seeing your starting point in a motorhome magazine

Well done to you on your new purchase.
I remember that feeling when we bought our van, even though it's an oldie at 21 years, and the fun we have had and are having, and will hopefully be able to continue doing going forward.
Good luck to you and safe motorhoming. ??

Thanks for that tour round. We miss have a nosy in dealers showrooms at the moment.
We wanted one with light wood and as much natural light as possible and eventually found a Swift Firebrand (made specially for the dealer Barrons; now gone) to a higher spec than the equivalent spec of the Swift 590. 12 years later we haven't seen another one that suits us so much.
Enjoy yourselves.

Thanks for the "tour". Lovely Van.
Layout is very similar to our 2010 Solano t725 with the major difference of the drop down island bed. Our island bed is fixed, has a split mattress at pillow position which has a 12v raising mechanism and slides back about 14" to make a day bed.

I can appreciate the extra space the drop down creates but at 6'4" (1.9m) the headroom under the raised bed would be a problem. I had a look round the equivalent A Class last year when on a campsite in Spain. Beautiful van but couldn't stand up when in rear lounge.

Safe Travels & enjoy.

Brill. And just as day trips become OK.
And campsites opening in 2020 more possible than a few weeks ago. ?

You’ve a bit of MHF Admin to do:

Just so here isn’t the only place with MH type ??
All optional of course?
