Left Not Glasgow on the 10th and crossed into Portugal this morning, had various stops along the way. One to Monfrague national park to go vulture spotting.

I never saw them there but did at the dam, one flew in and joined its mate. Another tourist let us view it with his spotting scope. If you return via Monfragüe and stop opposite the Gypsies Leap cliff look low down near the water. This is where the Black Storks nest. There won't be many and they are difficult to see, binoculars more or less essential.

Well that’s as good a reason to head back to Portugal now I have purchased one of these, shame I probably won’t have a motorhome to take it inHad tapas for lunch at Guadalcanal before riding back. View attachment 887971View attachment 887973

But your tapas looks fairly good...
Amazing how Tapas...A small mouthful sat on top of your glass of beer or wine, has developed into a hearty snack/meal

Was great seeing you both whilst visiting Alvor , it was 38 ° here yesterday at 3pm and even hotter today …stay cool both and enjoy ! XWe left the old Aire in Alvor today and are now at Porto Covo, but on ground outside the football stadium.
This was parked next to us at Alvor, wonder what Tam thinks of this Vario 814D conversion
It’s on a 4x4 chassis.
Reminded me of my first KTM SuperDuke as it was also EU56,which I wish I still had it.
