The waterpump has all ways made a purging type noise maybe once a day. Lately it went to maybe twice a day. The last 2 days this has gone to maybe every 30min. If it is the pump is there like a seal that needs renewing or are we looking at a new pump.

Just looked and there is a drip coming out one of the over flow pipes

You've got a leak then. Assuming your water system is pressure operated the tiniest leak will very gradually reduce the pressure in the system until it reaches the point where the pump cuts in to top it up - usually for less than a second (if it's more you've got a SERIOUS leak or a tap open).

Just a matter of tracing back the pipes - most likely a loose joint - but could be something like a leaky tap, which you just treat in the usual way.

We had this on our first trip out of our new van back in 2017, kept hearing the pump purging, whilst waking up one morning, got up to put the kettle on, and saw this, so it was turn everything off, head home, and back to the dealer. Turns out, one of the plastic clips hadn’t been properly pushed together. Thank goodness, we were thinking that major investigations were needed. So, relief all round. Been fine since👍

Mine did the same thing the other day turned out to be the jumper cables had fallen on to the water boiler dump/drain valve under the bench seat.
