Warranty work

As you have a Bavaria which I think is part of the Pilote group you may be able to use one of their dealers if you can't get a Bavaria one, if its a warranty issue though you might have to go back to the dealer you bought it from.

Thanks its a insurance based warranty sold with the van. Think its called Autoguard. You take to garage who ring for authorisation then do the work then claim the money so looking for local company who have availability in next two weeks.

Good luck with that, we found nobody was interested in doing work then claiming it back. They would do work if we paid and claim it back ourselves, but not them waiting for the money.

What is the work you need doing?

Think that will be the problem same last time i tried. I paid for the work but then they wouldn’t pay me back bit of a scam really.

Minxy girl we have an airlock and water not flowing properly. Had a go trying funsters remedies but still not working properly spluttering at the taps all weekend .

Phone up the insurance company and ask them to recommend a garage in your area ?

Another thing is that the insurance only wants to pay X amount so the garage ups the price to cover it, but they still won’t pay it all and your left having to pay the remainder to get your van fixed. As he said a scam.

Have you checked the filter glass/plastic cover.after frost it may crack had it on the bailey.

And be very wary insurance backed warranties dont usually pay for stripping and diagnostics.
Only the repair and re assembly
So for a 6-8 hrs strip down and testing they pay for two hrs to put it all back, you pay the difference
I stopped doing work for them they are hardly worth the paper there printed on
Note I said hardly i have seen the odd one work in favour of the owner

That was the issue we had with our Carthago.

Yes had the filter bowl off looks ok
I'd replace it as ours looked okay but apparently once it was removed by the dealer they found a hairline crack in it so they replaced it when it went in for its hab check and it worked fine after that - the dealer told us they think there had been a bad batch of the covers made as they'd had to replace quite a few with a new one they never had any further issues reported by customers.

Shame you can't fix it as water systems are pretty simple. From anecdotal evidence I think you'll be lucky to find anyone, let alone a warranty job, who can do it 'within the next two weeks' as many owners are booking services and repairs to their Rip van Winkle motorhomes following the easing of restrictions.

Hi Minxy Girl just the bowl or the whole pump ?
Just the bowl, the rest was fine but I'm not sure if a 'private' individual can buy just that bit so you might need to get the whole thing, eg:

Just make sure you the the correct one as I'm not sure if there are made for different pipe sizes.
