Hi I have a 1979 Peugeot boxer autosleeper on the warning display I have red lights one for oil one for battery one for hand break the other one is just left of the indercator display and has no symbol on it does anyone know what it is
 
A photo may help.
It may be a function not fitted to your model of Boxer.
Assuming you don't have a manual you can find one here:

Hi welcome.
Assume that is when the engine is running as you don't say.

Photo and as much info as possible will help you get an answer.

Two possibilities, do you have a float in the master cylinder, that will warn of low brake fluid, wires to the header tank, to warn of low coolant. Some Peugeots have a red light for high engine temp, but unlikely if you have a temp gauge.
