Voluntary 14 day quarantine entering France

Morning....can anyone who has travelled over to France in the last couple of weeks shed some light on the French entry requirements .
The government travel advice refers us to the french ministry of interior for up to date info...
I read on the "Ministere de l`interieur"(translated to english) click on .....
news...practical information...travel and travel certificate.....point2.

travellers outside of the eu (and importantly) as well as travellers from the UK, will be invited to make a voluntary 14 days quarantine .

Has anyone been approached on this on arrival in France , via the tunnel??
Any info on it and how it works if one is in a motorhome....ie ; stay in one set place , or a list of places en route .
This was introduced recently.

Well if it is voluntary and one wants to do it in one's MH it cannot be illegal to move around if it is voluntary.

No one takes any notice when it's compulsory, so can't see voluntary having much effect

The link I clicked goes to a press release back in May, and seems a bit "tit for tat"

However, for travelers coming from European countries whose authorities have decided, in an uncoordinated manner, to apply a measure of fourteen to travelers entering their territory from European countries, a voluntary fourteen will be requested, by reciprocity. Thus travelers arriving, by air only, from Spain, will be invited, as of Monday, May 25, to carry out a voluntary quarantine, because Spain has put in place on May 15 a quarantine system for travelers arriving to Spain by plane. This applies to travelers from Spain, France and any nationality. Likewise, travelers from the UK, regardless of their nationality, will be asked to do a fortnight when the UK fortnight measure, announced tonight, actually comes into force.

Covered ad nauseum on several threads on here. You will not be tasked to Q14. I have arrived in France twice over the last 2 months no discussion whatsoever with border control.

We arrived in France via the tunnel yesterday.....no mention of quarantining by French passport control. Just a bonsoir and aurevoir as we went through.
