Second weekend in august. My friend and I organise the friends of ferggie vintage harvest. In aid of Macmillan nurses, we have a field of wheat. It's cut by oldies, threshed with a 1904 foden thresher powered by a steam engine, milled made into dough then baked in field oven. Lots to see, camp in field, get 2people and a motorhome and admission for £10 per night, evening goes on till pizzas and beer run out. 10 miles from Salisbury. 6 from Southampton.
