Real long shot, but has anybody stayed at a vineyard Aire, ideally on the Meuse

We are on our way back to Zeebrugge next Monday, would like to try and probably buy some wine

Last year we found an amazing vineyard close to the Charente but too far south for us this trip

We are going to have a look at French Passion for options, but it would appear they have to send you the guide there is no App ?

anybody out there use FP who can tell us if we pay for guide can we then get web access at least?

Look on search for sites they list all type of aires including FP ones, and if I were you just turn up likely they will not bother if you are a member or not...

Search for sites doesn't list FP anymore just a general pinpoint to the location.

We stayed at a nice aire in Mutigny .... high up with great views over the surrounding vinyards.

I use Searchforsites it shows the exact location of France Passion sites, and has map grid references too.

Strange they are showing when I search but does say content is for app subscribers only which mine has lapsed until I renew it for our trip next month.

Thanks for the search for sites tip, all these years Motorhoming and never used it, but have heard it mentioned

Downloaded having a look for somewhere now ?

It's not really a vineyard area. I don't recall seeing one our recent trip along the Muese. Technically the Ardennes stretch is in the Champagne region - but the grapes are further south, starting around Reims.

We are already north of Verdun, feels very familiar not sure when but we must have come this way at some point, possibly even last year ? will revisit old notes later

Driven through a lot of rain at times today 126 miles in all and now parked at Dun-sur-Meuse €8 Has small washroom and hook up, right by the river which is navigable at this point, although still supported by locks and canal sections

Our pitch tonight

We are trialling a new sat bag option , mentioned by. Brendan and on a 14 day free trial, runs on our iPad so much bigger screen than Tom Tom and constant map updates included with the app if bought, much easier to use although it has a couple of oddities we beed to iron out

Sygic Truck

Picked up a leaflet on the Meuse valley at the aire here and to Bevs disappointment any wine grown here all happens south of Verdun

I am hoping to pass all blame on to DBK :whistle2:

Weather looks grey to damp for next few days, but have found a couple of beer museums north of here, will see if I can convince Bev they will do ?
