Vignette for Austria

Hi, can you buy sticker toll vignettes near the Austrian border at petrol stations? I'm looking at getting one at Vils on the German border near Garmisch. Can't get a digital one as they won't issue them for 14 days after you apply, due to some odd consumer legislation! (annoying)

That’s what I do all the time. First petrol station as you cross in, or last before the crossing. Under €10 for 10days up to 3,5T.

Just picked one up yesterday immediately after crossing border south of Fussen, first fuel station. 9.60 euros.

Yes, you can. And you can also buy digital vignettes at a number of them too, instead of the sticker ones, and also digital section tolls. Very easy to use.
