Vibrating In Roof Glass

Hi, I am asking for a friend (and yes he will join) he has a Swift Rio 310 with the large cab opening roof, but when going above speeds of 50mph it vibrates and is very very noisy, has anyone any ideas what could be causing it. thanks in advance for help.

A swift Rio in the storage pitch along from ours has no overcab sun roof it is completely gone! All tapped up with plastic sheet!

It appears that cracking of the double glazed overcab window or it coming completely out is a common occurrence.
There is quite a bit on the tinterwebb and Utube, about it.

PS:
tinkerbell I’d get your friend to get it looked at asap before it parts company with the roof.

His may be fine but having seen the mess on a Rio that has had its sun roof part company I’d certainly get it inspected.
