I'm after a reasonably priced vets in the area between Normandy and Dieppe ( where we return from ) to provide the mandatory tapeworm tablets for our two small dogs before we return back to the UK

We use this one. They speak English and they are very good. We use the free Aire at Mesniers en Bray, the night before, so we are close by.

138go thanks for the links , is the branch that you use in this town : NEUFCHÂTEL-EN-BRAY also how much do they charge per dog do u remember

I used them for my 2 jackies, i think it was about 30 per dog

We used a vet at Buchy it was 5.30€ for a 6kg dog without health check.

That was cheap , any English speaking ? Or french only ?

There doesn't seem to be a problem there as quite a few funsters have used them already.

We normally use the one in Rue and there is a nice quiet camp site also

Yes Neufchâtel en Bray! It was €30 but we had our own tablets, from our own vet at home.

Ok update : everything went good apart from one of our dogs refusing to eat the tablet for like 15 mins lol , 2 small dogs , vets supplied tablets and filled out pet passports , total cost €40.80 , staff were lovely , would recommend :)

Our dog flatly refuses to eat anything in the Vets and nothing will tempt him. He has jaws like a vice too so there's no chance of forcing them apart and popping the tablet down his throat. He will, however, scoff the tablet back at the motorhome if it is chopped up and concealed in a suitable treat food so now we make sure the vet is willing to accompany us out to the motorhome to witness the taking of the tablet before signing off the passport.

That's a good idea , luckily our one that fussy and refuses to take the tablet is a Shitzu and small , so 15 mins of holding her mouth closed later and the tablet had eventually dissolved lol

Ours used to have one type he liked almost like his treats so we always used to take our own it also worked out a lot cheaper
