Ann likes the 18v black & decker thing. I think they're all a waste of space on holiday.

Having tried just about everything on the market, nothing comes close to our SHARK anti hair wrap, the model would be down to personal choice, but we have two border collies & one of the casts constantly, our van is carpeted so the job is normally doubly difficult.
The SHARK has things looking like new in seconds, our old DYSON was a complete pig & I wouldn't give one houseroom, let alone motorhome room.

We have a Dyson Car & Boat not a fan of Dyson but it does the job. The Car & Boat version comes with more tools & a flexable pipe also both 12v & 240v chargers.

Dyson, beats everything else hands down for sucking power which is all a vacuum needs to do. I’ve had suck offs against gtech, shark, Hoover and black and decker. Dyson wins every time and that’s without using turbo power.

G tech are made in China (n)

The most effective is a Henry, made in UK, but a bit large for a mh. We use a Dyson which is at least designed in UK although made in Malaysia, which is a democracy with no apparent world domination ambitions

We got a Gtech hand held we use it at home all the time but have only taken it away once, we use a brush but we have taken the carpets out and put loose rugs in as they're much easier to clean

Do you find that your rugs ‘migrate’, and end up bunched against seating, etc……? We use some rubber-backed barrier mats and they seem to have a life of their own………! o_O o_O ;)

Just awaiting the vax blade

I had a thread here for the same reason.
it came down to two.
the vax or shark

both seemed ok but the vax sold me as it came with two batteries for about the same price.

We don't have a problem with the rugs we take them out every day and give them a good shake then put them back and they stay put. They're cheap rugs from pound stretcher we have smallish ones that can go in the washing machine and easy to replace if needed.

I always feel that leaving rechargeable batteries unused for months at a time isn’t good for them. We have a Dyson V8 in the house, so we bought a second charging point, for very little money, off of Ebay and fitted it into the garage of the motorhome. Now I just take the one from the house with us and it works fine.

Another Gtech.
Pleased with capability and price, free from MIL. When the crappy up right failed twice.
Even happier to have a new battery free from Gtech . Battery recall.
