SWmbo wants to reduce the yellowing of plastics particularly in the bathroom. Are there any easy to add UV filters to the roof lights or any other options? The last year we've had the blind drawn.

I'm not sure the yellowing is entirely due to uv, in our last van we had from almost new, the bathroom blinds were always closed, the bathroom was always dark, some of the plastics still yellowed a little.
Not much help i know, but there it is.

Most probably yellowed due to a lack of sunlight as happens with alkyd resin paint.

There's plenty of the films on Ebay

Just find the colour you need although the one way films should work pretty well so you could just tint them.

That's correct. Natural light causes yellowing. Simple glass cuts out UV.

It’s certainly the sun that has yellowed the plastics in my bathroom. We have a line down the shower wall where the frame of the shower door is that is much whiter than the rest as it’s blocked from the sun.

that is exactly the type of effect we are seeing. Pherhaps too keen to label UV as bad boy but if its not UV that means draw all blinds .

Some of the plastic is fine but other is quite yellow so looks even worse. And bits that are shaded, are somewhere between
