Our neighbours have just arrived on site and they've no 12 volt power to their 2013 Chauson Flash 10.
240 volt is working. Is there a switch to turn charger on and if so where is it located?

Is there a power on switch on the panel usually over the door?

Yes on ours top right button to switch on panel then bottom left button to switch 12v supply for lights etc

Pressed power on but nothing. I think leisure batteries are flat/knackered but wondered if 12v could be powered off charger?

Do you have a multi meter?

I do but difficult to see anything in the dark.

From memory (could be wrong) there may be an overload reset button on the charger. Perhaps that needs pressing ?

But the leisure battery should have been charged by the alternator while driving, so suspect it is more than a charging problem.

Is the charger switched on at the distribution box, we have accidentally knocked ours off before.

Are there any LEDS alight on the panel if you press the top right power switch ? Such as pressing the water tank level button ?

Check the 240v fuse box and check if the breaker is on. Then check if 240v at charger

I’d start with testing the leisure batts,( if you have a torch), start with the obvious and work back,, don’t know anything about their specific van sorry

Can't find the charger.

It's in the storage box under the side seat directly behind the passenger seat. From memory its a black plastic box, it may also have an indicator light on it. Or not.

Thanks for all the replies. Had another look this morning and found the charger but it's not working. The couple leave today so they'll book it in when they get home. Thanks again.
