The cab courtesy light on my Swift Rio has never worked - 5 years on, I decide to do something about it. So this afternoon I prised the cover off and inside ... now where did that dirty great bolt come from???? There's nothing above except the Swift (potentially flying) Panoramic Roof Window ... oh dear ..... perhaps I should be worried...

As for the window, I believe I can fly…..😂

I had a rattle in the tailgate of my Polo. I mentioned it at the first service. When I collected my car the garage told me they’d found a bolt which must have got into the tailgate at the factory when the car was built. The garage said, the embarrassing thing was, the bolt wasn’t even for a Polo!

What is the thread in the hole in a Polo?

I have to ask, what would you classify as an "expected surprise"?
An expected suprise is one where I know there is a surprise coming but I don't know what the content of the surprise will be - eg Christmas presents. I know there are presents under the tree, but I don't know what's in the wrapping paper - it's a surprise. In this case - I wasn't expecting any surprises of any sort - but I should know better, opening up a fitting for the first time always presents a surprise, if only as to quite how badly it was designed!!!
