Under seat battery

Hi all

I have a 2018 swift 614 on a ducato with the battery under the drivers seat. Does anyone know the max dimension battery size I can fit without removing the seat.

If I decided to remove the seat how hard is that to do and is there any major pitfalls

Only r bolts to remove the seat but they are flipping heavy.
Should be able to measure the battery by taking the back and side panels off of the seat base.

It's often possible to fit another one next to it although you will have to remove the seat to find out and fit it

I recently added a second leisure battery on my ducato based Possl, under the drivers seat. I used the same Varta la95. It's a squeeze, but a fit. Take the seat off the swivel first and then the swivel.

As Lenny said, a doddle to remove but be careful not to wreck the bolt heads, they aren’t that robust and get someone to help. You might have a seatbelt cable to unplug.

Those are starter batteries.
