When we had the caravan the carpet was loose and could be lifted. But it did go under the heater.

Now is that the same case for a motorhome heater.
Or
will I have to fit a carpet frame to stop the carpet from going under The fire Heater unit.

Just use non slip carpet we use Marvel mats cut to fit & throw them in the washing machine after a trip. or you could use gel backed carpet.
