Unbranded LTD1220D solar charger - selecting gel battery (1 Viewer)

Hello - does anyone now how to select battery type on unbranded LTD1220D solar charger - blurb online says its possible, but not how to!
Also, I've seen some gel batteries in the classified for sale near me, but I'm a newbie and don't have permission to respond - how do sort this please?

Hi Theo

You won't be able to respond to the classified section as you are not a full paid up member, re the solar charge controller I would be tempted to replace it with a decent MPPT controller with Gel settings.

Thank you. Just seen Renology has their MPPT Rover Li controller on sale and tempted to upgrade to this.
I'll look into becoming a full member

There are full instructions for that model in the resources section ,not sure if you can access that though until you are a member, but if you put the model into an internet search it will come up with a solution.
