post a list and i am sure that some of us will help. parts are about and should hopefully be cheap. it just takes a fair bit of searching for some bits. sometimes thinking outside the box is needed. such as the same engine was fitted to other vehicles

exhaust is pretty easy to weld in repair parts etc

dont feel beaten by this incident, youve repaired much worse from what youve said on here

That's a great idea. I am sure Bill will not be beaten by this setback but having a network of Funster friends across the country/Europe will mean we can all source and pick up any parts that are local to us. Or if Bill spots a bargain on ebay there will be one of us living near enough to pick up.

Bill - post a list and more details of the base chassis etc and we'll start hunting. (Well we're up for it anyway.) Colin has found a breakers in Bournemouth (offers a postal service) that deals with Fiat Ducato/Talbot Express etc.
