Since 2015, still learning
Morning, anyone replace the external vent cover with one of the generic ones that they described as a winter cover?

My original “flew off”. As did the very expensive replacement EDIT - MINE IS OLD STYLE WITH ONE CLIP AT THE TOP

Do you folks drive with them on? I would have thought that they could get full of stuff if driving without a cover in the rain 🤔
Any thoughts.

I thought I had one in my shed you could have had.

I might be able to if I knew someone with the skills and the dimensions. 🤔

That’s an extremely kind thought. I appreciate you trying.

If people have had success with the more modern one (post 2006 / rapids) without it flying off on the motorway, I’d pull the trigger on the cheap one. The older one is three times the price! And with postage nearly £50!

I remember putting a very small screw in one on a caravan once to stop exactly that as the cheaper ones clips just don’t fit tightly

I always thought they were for winter to keep spiders out. I sold mine and I’ve never had a problem. I certainly wouldn’t worry about anything getting in as you drive so I believe you are overthinking the matter

I replaced a lost one but had to trim the plastic at the bottom to get it to fit on properly

Did you replace like with like, or try the newer version?
