I just posted on the Clou liner for sale post and it’s a very well made but ugly/beautiful vehicle depending on your point of view.
What van/ car do you think is butt ugly? I’ll start with a Holden estate car, UGLY.
Citroen 2CV. Beautiful.
Anything made by Tesla

🙈🙈🙈🙈

For me it’s every EV on the road. It’s like hmm 🤔 what shall be do with the traditional grill that was required for cooling real engines in real cars, I know let’s slap a lump of plastic on it. All wucking fugly 🤪

Same as the rear, with lots of EV’s still having the cutouts for when they were real cars, had real exhausts and made sounds that made us men dribble…..now ready for the EV brigade and their incoming 💥

And the list goes on 👍🏻

Very practical and very ugly, or is it ?
🤔
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder……. Some people even like the new front of the bigger BMW EV’s 😳 One of my friends has one and he is the only one of us who likes it.

We think that it fell out of the ugly tree, hit every branch on the way down and landed on it’s face in a thicket of stinging nettles

Can't agree my MG4 has a nice sporty front end with a grill with slats that open when going fast to help cool the battery.

I rather like the Honda EV... it's cute! But I agree that many EVs haven't worked out what to do with the space that our brains have been conditioned, over the decades, to think should have a grill!

Even though my Tesla Model 3 is, in almost every way, the best car I've ever owned, I've never been a huge fan of its appearance. I thought when I purchased it that its shape was somewhere between a Porsche and Mondeo but wasn't quite sure where on that scale. 🙂

I once went to a talk by a famous designer who had worked in a range of industries, and I remember his comment that there's a saying in the design industry that 'VW have never produced an ugly car'. I think that's pretty much true.

If my car had the software and power management of a Tesla but the appearance of a VW... pretty much any VW... I'd be very happy.

Need proof, proper hard evidence of this in operation. We won’t pay the ransom money until we have proof of life 🙄😄🤭

When I was buying my MG my mate said why don't you get a 2 or 3 year old Tesla, I said I'm not driving something that ugly.
Tech maybe good but they are butt ugly, most of the smaller ones on the road are white and they look even worse in white.

VW Mk 3 around 1970 was horrible……!

Probably right, Juke, Yuk.
I think a visit to your local Specsavers is called for.

Ugly car opinion........ for me it has to be any of the recent plethora of SUV's, what on earth are they all about?

Pug-ugly great hunks of metal and plastic, without any form of design about them to my eyes, unless a barn door was the inspiration and apparently the bigger the better (my willy is bigger than your willy syndrome).

I find it odd that they always seem congregate in very large groups at the school gates twice a day, blocking the road and pavement!

The only time 99.99% of SUV's go off-road (other than accidentally) i.e. referring to the 'sports utility' part of their acronym, is when they mount the pavement as close to the schools gates as possible to collect their kiddies who apparently cannot walk a hundred yards (or metres) to get to where mother or father could have parked sensibly. It has got so bad here recently, the Council has now closed the public road running alongside one school near here to all traffic except school buses, taxis and cars with permits, for two periods a day during term time for a trial period of at least 6 months. https://letstalk.cornwall.gov.uk/41058/.

Locals who live further along the road now face a convoluted detour through a housing estate, instead of a 200 metre long road to get on their journey, brought about mainly by inconsiderate drivers parking on double yellows and even double parking at drop-off and pick-up times etc.

OK, OK, maybe not all are SUV's, but they certainly seem to be the majority............and they are ugly!!
