We have a A class gross weight 3650 . Tyres are like concrete just let them down from 5.5 bar as it sats on the plate to 4.5. Definitely better but would think ot better if i go lower but to what pressure.
Continental camper 215/70/15”
First job…….go to a weigh bridge and get the weight of each axle with the van fully loaded for a trip.
Then email Continental with all the info and they will give you the correct pressures.
We run our 4500kg van at well under the pressure recommended on some sites but it can still crash and bang over some of our dreadful road surfaces despite having full air as well.
My van is 3500kg I have just drive. 280 miles 60psi front 65psi rear smooth ride and when I stopped for a comfort break trice all the tyres were just warm which is perfect might want to up them by 3 psi to start with. Good luck trial and error. Travelling at 60 mph
I put some new Continental Vanco Campers 215 x 75 R16's about a year ago and was told to put 80psi front and rear. After driving back from the fitters the van was banging over every small bump and weaving along the motorway which I was having to constantly correct. When I got home I contacted Continental and told them that I usually load the van close to the 3500kg limit and they gave me the inflation pressures of 51psi front and 69psi rear and it runs sweetly now.
