Thinking of buying a TPMS for M/H. Can anyone please recommend a make & model. Been looking on ebay but they all seem to come from China and I don't feel comfortable with that. Been on Tyrepal website but they have some bad reviews. Thank you in advance for answering

We have a tyre pal for the toad. Don't have one for the motorhome wheels itself as I don't think I need one, but the toad is a must. Brilliant bit of kit.

Yes, we've got the Tyrepal set up, same as Andy. Great bit of kit and good value. Been using for almost 2 years without problem. Provides peace of mind.

Wonder where the bad reviews come from. Used tyre pal for a while. Can't fault it and never heard a bad word or review.

Tyrepal here too, had it fitted for about a year with no problems. The display also shows you the tyre temperatures, it's amazing how hot tyres get if they are under/ over inflated, it's allowed me to get the pressures spot on to keep the temperature change at a minimum.

Tyrepal for the mh. The car has it built in but isn't as good.

You have to give tyrepal a couple of miles to warm up and some people don't like that but as I always do a "walk round" checking lockers and other externals that includes checking for dodgy looking tyres it's not a problem. I don't use the tyepal grubscrews, they are a pain.

On and off for many years.
Many years ago we had a tyre on a motorhome blow out. Had we had tyrepal we would have noticed the pressure building up long before the valve went.

All of mine are usually registering before I get to the main road out of storage.
I set all my pressures when it was only about 5C and after many many months they are all still the same at similar temperature. It is interesting to note how the pressures change out on the road, even the Sunny side will notably be slightly higher than the shaded side. I've never seen anything unusual yet and its nice to know the alarm will go off hopefully with enough warning to save the tyre.

The battery lasts a very long time when charged so need need for trailing wires. Mine now resides with velcro on my rear view monitor.

Does anyone have any experience of the standard Tyre pressure monitor system offered on Fiat Ducato MH's?

We have ordered a new Van from Germany and they told us the Fiat system unlike my car is an audible alarm only and he seemed to think it would drive you mad. We therefore ignored it as an option with our order.

Tyrepal looks good but interested if the standard Fiat system is any good?

Thanks.

I know nothing of the Fiat offering BUT Tyrepal at £25 per wheel effectively is a no brainer and you can easily remove and transfer it to your next vehicle

Fair point Techo100, on the other hand if you have the chance to make it part of the vehicles own system you can avoid the extra digital display....... if its any good.

The thing is .. the digital display is quite reassuring. Not only does it cover pressure but also temperature and allows you to set the limits. To my mind it's an easy and cost effective solution to the tyre pressure issue. (Not to mention the facility to cover a trailer)

Do you have to put batteries in the tyepal display unit or do you have to plug in to charging 12v point
