TV in Germany

Evening all,
We are currently in southern Germany, close to the Swiss and Austrian borders. I have a lovely green signal light on my Visionplus tuner but my Avtex TV is not picking up any channels when I select Germany and re tune. I have also tried selecting Austria and Switzerland but not picking up those either. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? It worked perfectly in France ( and Uk) but nothing so far in Germany.
All suggestions gratefully received.

Your dish and receiver obviously have good choice as the TV is bobbins here

We where did n Meersburg Lake Constance last week and got most channels through our 60cm dish, the wired bit was it was only certain regional channels that worked. For instance itv wouldn’t work but STV (Scottish version) did and bbc Scotland kept breaking up where as bbc London was fine.

Sorry, just to be clear It's terrestrial DTV not satellite. The visionplus booster thingy seems to have a good signal but zero programmes found on autostart. Anyone know if Polarity is vertical or horizontal in Deutchland
