Tunnel today

We were booked on 13.20. Left home at 06.30 and arrived at tunnel at 11.30. They put us on 12.39 but we were halfway across the channel by then. Parked up in Neufchâtel Aire, still a few spaces but we are the only UK registered vehicle . Last time we came here we had problems getting the barrier to let us out.

Useful for us as we're going across tomorrow at 14.10, same first night stop planned, just 90 mins or so down the road. Will aim for an earlier one if poss. I got an email from them warning us not to arrive any more than 2 hours before as they don't have much parking space. If so they may issue a £200 fine. Wha??

We went through uk-france this morning. Were booked on the 0550 but they put us on the 0536.
The only person apart from us to look at our passports was the UK guy, we were waved through by the french check point and there was nothing at all this side.
No other paper work requested.
We're now here

And it's 25°C in the sunshine.

Will do. I don't anticipate any problems with the tunnel though, we went through both ways last month, on the way out mid-day there were only a handful of vehicles on the train.
