can anybody tell me the e mail address off andrew flintham off tui i know its not motorhome related well yes it is iff i can ever get my holiday money back from tui it will go to buying another motorhome ,thanks in advance Andy
 
If you paid any of the money by credit card , then just claim section 75 , get your money back and let the card company have the problem.

hi thanks for the replys i have gone for a charge back being paid on a credit card but i just want to e mail mr flintham and tell him what a set of t$$$ers tui are wont answer the phones and they have shut down there e mail contacts
 
Being a cynic, I suspect he already knows that and may even have instigated the policy!
 
probably but he will have more money than me and at the end off the day it was tui who told me it would be sorted in 14 days
 
Gpz how long has it been ,since they rang you and you told them you wanted a refund? And when were you due to go on holiday? Ive had three refunds off them the final one was feb for a cruise and it was exactly two weeks after the initial phone call to see if i wanted a refund until i got it, and then it was a couple of days after second phonecall .good luck

Tui as an operator is first class, what is it they have done to upset your good self.

Dig a little deeper and you should be able to locate his home address, it might spook him if you sent the letter there 😈 Company house free search may help.

First class operator? I will never will book with them again, and so will thousands of others.

A good friend of ours had booked a tui holiday for them, their kids and grand kids to go to Disney Land Florida for Easter last year, which was then cancelled just before they were due to go.
The amount of hassle, bullsh*t, excuses, lies and delaying tactic he got from tui in trying to get a refund for the over £25,000 he had paid to them was proof that tui are a bunch of cretins.
He was ringing and emailing tui on almost a daily basis and finally got his refund in early December, would he book with tui again, have a guess.
 
Just coming to the end of a section 75 claim for a 3 piece, complaints were logged 1 week after delivery March last year, company went bust before it was sorted hence claim against Tesco bank as the card issuers
Agreed full refund that took 11 months,but wont pay out till the faulty three piece is picked up.
Pick up let us down yesterday. email fired off, stating after today they are liable for a storage charge.
Section 75 is good protection but dont hold your breath

Norwegian air still owe me £450. Fat chance of getting that back. Paid me in an unusable voucher that runs out soon.
Thieving scumbags.
 
What a sorry set of stories! All this makes me grateful that my intention is not to do anymore long haul exotic holidays and focus everything around MH based European tours!
 
Of course... all travel companies have struggled to refund... their financial processes just weren't set up to deal with the unprecedented pandemic.

This certainly was a reasonable/valid excuse early on, but not an acceptable position now we are nearly a year into this. Their likely issue is that they work with modest margins and so are simple not solvent if they refund people promptly and reasonably.

Tui is not alone in these unprecedented times, every holiday company and cruise provider has hit the wall with peoples requests/demands with many problems of which were self inflicted where people didn't follow government advice or use pure self logic. I have and will continue to use this excellent holiday provider and enjoy it's excellence of service.(y)

well thanks to johnjan posting andrew flintham e mail address i sent him an e mail last night although there was no response i rang tui again today phone picked up within 2 minutes and suposedly all sorted i was told it could take up to five days for the money to appear back in my account so we will see thanks again for all your help i will keep you all posted to progress

Sorry you had this experience. We cancelled some flights with Norwegian air. Spoke to them on the phone. Declined the offer of a voucher and said we wanted full refund. Money back in our account in 24 hours. Couldn’t fault them

I agree, there are other rip off companies who make every effort to keep deposits and funds without regards to the law.

How come some companies in the budget airline industry can manage to refund customers?

I know who I will book with in future! Anyone booking with Tui, good luck to them!

Do you still think Tui is a first class operator after reading Trustpilot reviews?
