We just got back from a great stay at Tudor Caravan Park in Slimbridge. We booked into the adult-only section—about 19 pitches tucked away from the family friendly side for some real peace and quiet. The park's right by the canal, and we loved the Black Shed Café just a short walk away (try the breakfast!). The WWT Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is also definitely worth a visit. We walked for miles while there spotting swans, cranes, geese, and flamingos. We never knew wetlands could be this relaxing Here’s our little video tour if you fancy a look::

We have booked this site for 5 nights in July school holidays. £222.50 for 2 adults and 2 ankle biters. £44.50 a night.
Worth every penny for the enjoyment we will get from having the grandkids with us

Compared to say an air b and b etc it’s fair value.

I’m just tight and don’t want facilities, just a place to rest the wheels 😊

Several years ago I organised the rally field at Tudor for a Funster event and, a very short time later they cancelled our booking
The reason given was that they had made a mistake and had 'double booked' the field.
The fact that the dates happened to coincide with an extra special weekend

I booked Tudor for a Fun Rally, several years ago

Shortly afterwards they contacted me and cancelled the booking.
Their excuse was that they had 'inadvertantly' double booked the rally field.
That the country were due to celebrate some date of national importance that weekend was just a coincidence, was it?

It’s always been an expensive site with annoying charges for extras like booking a specific pitch next to friends etc. Good location though, bird sanctuary, cafe, pub & canal on the doorstep. £40 not unusual these days for a nice site with facilities.
