Hi just back from Glenmore campsite with my grandson was a bit chilly one night so put heating on mix gas and electric but error 112 and 122 cameup with the flame ? symbol looked up the codes and it says gas regulator frozen and crash valve not working ? Works ok with straight electric heating , and oven and jobs still worked ok? checked the gas regulator and made sure the reset button was in and Cylinder had gas in it , tried again still the same , so changed over cylinders and it worked ok , but there was still gas in other cylinder any ideas, could it have been a sticky regulator as it's been a couple of weeks since it was used ? As I say it's working ok now . Which I'm glad as this type of regulator is the expensive one that allows heating to be on when driving not that I've used it for that .

I'd still be suspicious about the regulator. Heating takes a lot of gas flow and whilst it may be enough for the other appliances it may just be insufficient for the heating. As a gas bottle empties the pressure must eventually drop a bit and it may well be the first bottle is getting a bit low, the second much fuller giving a slightly, but enough, higher pressure.

Go back to the hob, then turn on each ring in turn - if the flame reduces as another is turned on that would show a marginal gas pressure, pointing, unfortunately, to a regulator on it's way out.

Agree with above. Gas valve reducing the gas pressure too much. If you want to you could fit a much cheaper basic valve and then try heating.

Thanks for the advice guys I will try the hob part and see what happens I had something similar in my first van turned out the gas regulator was oiled up due to constant use of propranolol gas it gives off an oily substance gradually blocking up the valve ,
