Asking for a friend who is stuck in an area with little wifi or phone signal! She is on a campsite and is hooked up. The electrical storm last night knocked out the power to the site (now restored), but her Truma panel is showing error code W621H temp sensor faulty. She has phoned Truma who were no help.
A) is it likely to be coincidence?
B) any simple fixes?
C) anyone know of dealers near Pooley Bridge who may be able to sort ?

Ask if they can reset the Truma Controller ? If so (And Im sure they can) Go through the reset procedure of the Truma controller itself. Basically...turn the knob until the spanner symbol comes up and then press it to enter the menu. turn the knob until Reset comes up and then press it. Wait a few seconds and it will confirm this and then just set it to as it was before. Set up times and dates etc and just put it back to where it was before the hiccup with the electric being either temporary shut down or a surge was detected .
The code should erase itself from view and allow all to be ok . The code will still be stored but accessible by laptop or pc connection. The system should be back to normal use

0621 temperature sensor out of tolerance. Is it possible the sensor just got too hot?

Try resetting it on the boiler itself.
If you can find the boiler, there will be an led to show it has power. There is a tiny yellow button next to it. Hold that down for a few seconds and the system will do a hard reset.
