I fitted this controller and having difficulty setting it. I put it on water setting (thermometer in water) but we are getting hot air from vents, not exactly blown, as in heating.
The fan icon is clear and the flame and water icon is flashing which means water isn't hot yet ?
Is it normal for hot air from vents ?

If the flame is flashing you have got the heating turned on. Just the thermometer flashes if only the water is on.
Every time you adjust the settings you have to push the knob for it to accept the setting, if you select the caravan symbol I expect you will see the set temperature, turn the knob anti-clockwise until it says OFF then press the knob.
