Truma BO boiler

I have a problem with my boiler. when I turn it on at the control panel a green light should come on and the boiler should light. If it does not light then a red fault light should come on. However, when I turn my boiler on both lights flash on and then fade immediately, so I get the impression that the initial fault is with the controller. Has anyone else come across this problem?

Sounds like a power issue. I presume your hab battery is fully charged? If so, I would suspect a dealer-only fault.

Battery is fully charged, it is a brand new one so no problem there. I am going to take the back off the controller to see if there are any problems there with the connections. if they are all ok, then I am going to get someone to check the PCB as it is obviously a problem with the power supply and I need that checking before I can find out if there is a problem with water or gas. Will get there eventually, but it has been a long haul trying to rectify all of the problems, most of which have been caused by the cables being chewed by mice.

It has certainly been a journey of discovery. Absolutely nothing worked as the mice had had a field day with the wiring, but almost there.
