OK am lost. If we went to Spain. What tests do we need to go and come back as things are. We are both double jabbed and have qr codes on phone

So we don't need any covid test. If jabbed? Been told we need one in Spain and one when we get home

Nothing on the way out and either a PCR or lateral flow on the way back is the way I'm reading it, lots of MP's kicking off about having to get the PCR test as it's more expensive.

Right so one in Spain and one when we get back

One test in Spain just before you return.
Lat flow or PCR. (You can take one from UK and do via pic on mobile phone if you wish)

and

One PCR test 2 days after you get Bach to the UK. This has to be a PCR test and must be precooked before you travel back, as you have to tell them the test info on paperwork.

Today we are on an earlier ferry from Dover so hoping to get further south than planned and the sun has just come out…

Clearing the border controls was a breeze, passport, TIE (residency) CV19 cert and dogs scanned and off you go - no longer than 30 mins. Plus no food / fridge check (to be fair no one entered the van).

Son and his family arriving from The Netherlands soon. Still have to pre book the 2 and 8 day test kits for when back in the UK…….took delivery of them today on their behalf.

No. Lateral flow OR pcr before you leave spain, Passenger locator form & a pre booked day 2 test when back in UK. No quarantine required

Just thought I'd add this link to this thread.

A fairly recent YouTube video (published on 7 Aug 2021) featuring the 'Roaming Radfords' on the Plymouth to Santander, Pont Aven ferry.

We've never travelled direct to Spain so quite interesting. Talks about their concerns and experiences with Covid paperwork etc.
