Paris-Lille trip, the toll rate goes from €17.30 to €14.20

Thats a litre and a half of wine.

Its in my memory banks especially about the travelling on BHs. Apart from errors I think we have only ever used (once) the 2 euros ish worth of toll around Boulogne. Every other time it was the map readers fault

Try it from Europe, Google Dieppe Newhaven €59 one way, click on DFDS site and it will show you the price, don't use translate and start it will let you put in details then it goes blank if you try to continue

Boy it’s rich seeing UK people being critical about roundabouts. I’ve never seen as many as there are there.

I really like the 80 or 90 kmph speed limits on French roads (non highways). Good for fuel economy, you can look around and you don’t feel like you’re holding people up.

No one has mentioned give way to the right a lot of French towns and villages have reinstated it as it slows drivers down.

As you approach a town if there is a sign with a yellow diamond with a black line through it it means you do not have priority. Sometimes it's just for a roundabout but often applies to the whole town.

Just take it easy and look at road marking on side roads, if there are no give way or stop signs be prepared for cars just driving out in front of you as its their right of way.

You have time to get one by post. It would be worth it to take away any hassle. I have the Fulli one but have not yet used it because it is replacing my ATMB one which is due to battery expire after 6 years.
These tags have no subscriptions, you just attach a (fee free) card and it debits your account.

Most use a revolut card, mine went through with my uk lloyds account

You can use a debit card such as Revolut or maybe Starling, but they do not seem to accept UK High Street banks

Im on same crossing on the 15th for 2 months ,first stop around the Falaise area doing a bit of exploring of the Canadian side of the WW2 invasion as have lots of new info from the Canadian military site (Both my elder sister and partners fathers we killed in Normandy but not on the beaches .) No planning so could be anywhere after that . I have been going to France every year for almost 20 years and very rarely use tolls and on the route you are taking you shouldn't need to either.
Have a look at this blog i dld the opposite to the way you are doing ,but list a few good stops.

Well, at least the parts of it that are relevant to your plans. Rouen seems to have a bit of a bad reputation as some motorhomers have mistakenly taken a turn leading to a subway with a height restriction, causing them to screech to a halt and cause a traffic jam. I have avoided that in Rouen, thankfully, but as for Le Mans - well, I try not to speak of that...!
