Travel insurance

Hello, does anyone know of a travel insurance company that will insure for air travel to an amber country (spain) thankyou best regards pampam

Avanti and Staysure both gave me very reasonable quotes for travel to Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy). Their websites were almost identical (same company??). You need to specifically select the option for cover for travel against FCDO advice.

Battleface also quoted but significantly more expensive for us.

I've had a quote from Cedar tree which was bloody ridiculous so wouldn't even bother trying them, I might now wait until Foreign Office advice changes

Staysure just took a policy out with them with extended 100 day travel and previous conditions £320 for me and the wife 1 over 70 at moment they gave me 15months policy and as ferry bookings with Britany were flexible starting policy on 30 June so good for next years trip as well

Maximum trip durations:
50 consecutive days for all persons aged 70 and under.
35 consecutive days for all persons aged over 70.
Total combined trips must not exceed 183 days.

I can't see anything online about extended 100 day travel, did you have to phone them?

I've just bought 12 month (you get 15 months) insurance from Staysure , the option to up the cover from 50 days to 100 days in a single trip is after you have confirmed the policy but before paying
