My trauma water heater works fine on gas but not on electric. When we set it to work on electric the red light flashes saying failed. Could this be just a fuse, or would lights on dials not work if fuse had gone?

Daft question but it does have electric elements I assume because the electric side is not normally standard fitment just gas.

There is a 10A mains fuse on the Combi circuit board but it can be difficult to get to. Worth getting this checked before assuming both elements have failed. The control panel runs from the 12V supply, not the mains, so could well be showing a fault if the mains fuse has blown.

I spent hours trying to figure out why my combi wouldnt work on mains, only to find it was a Truma combi 4 - gas only!
Solid red - no gas, blinking red - no electric. Dial lights up from 12v. Check main fuses and if no joy try to get to the 10a fuse under the top cover.
