I have a copy of a Sky set up for Spain which gives transponder settings but it's a couple of years old now (pre satellite change-over) and I wonder if it's still relevant?
It says change default transponder from 11.778 to 12.051 or 11.817 or 11.739.

Any help much appreciated.

That is if the signal isn't strong on 11.778 , which is the main one. & yes itis still the same.
Unless you are up Benidorm & above or it is highly unlikely that you will receive much - Certainly around where I am.

11778, the main sky default transponder, is now on the European beam, and easy to receive across most of Spain so there is now no need to change it to any other.

Note: changing the default transponder does nothing whatsoever for individual channel reception, it merely tells the sky box where to download the channel list from when the box is first powered on.
