transit mk6 bonnet catch

hi , Has anyone had a problem with trying to get the bonnet open on a transit, mk 6,!:Sad:

Mine opens with the ignition key ....its a 2006 not sure if its a mk 6
Keyhole is on the top of the grill

hi , not yet thank god, i open mine with a key just under the bonnet is that the same for all mk 6 ?

Have you turned it both ways?

One way to pop the boonet, then the other way releases it to allow you to open it!

Yes , I repair lots of them.
Sometimes push the key HARD into the lock and turn left.
Other times hold key to the left and thump the middle of the bonnet with other hand.
The bonnet or front panel go out of alignment sometimes,hold key to the left and try pulling the bonnet towards or away from you.
When if flips open turn to right.:thumb:
