Trailer ball weight

2 wheel trailer behind moho with small car on, trailer is 200kg, car 800kg, what's the ideal ball hitch weight please?

I always understood it should be about 75kg

It should be approx 7% of the trailer weight (but not over the towbar limit). Or my test is that if I can only just lift the nose of the trailer it's about right.
