I keep noticing that the red LED push button switch is illuminated. Battery voltage on solar charging is 13v so that seems fine. My guess is that the system is charging but the red LED is annoying. To my mind it`s an indicator that something is going astray. Advice please kind people.

There are three pairs of terminals, for solar panel, battery and load. Probably nothing is connected to the load terminals. They are used for other applications like street lights, road signs, CCTV cameras etc, where automatic on/off periods are required. In a motorhome they are just ignored.

The red push button is for changing the mode of the load connections: manual, timer, daylight-sensitive etc. It can be ignored, although the red flashing is a bit annoying I suppose.

Thanks very much for that. The unit is located out of view so the red light isn't seen. It's just that evertime i open the cupboard i see it flashing.
