Toyota Aygo Toad - towing electrics

Might be a bit of a shot in the dark but has anyone experience of fitting towing electrics to a Toyota Aygo. I've fitted the Caratow bracket, eyebolts and footbrake connection and now need to run a cable, presumably from the rear lights, through to the engine compartment.

I’m not sure it that easy. Had ours professionally fitted. I’m sure one of the fitting companies will do it for a fair fee.

Another way would be a trailer board.
