The electric push button on my toilet flush is doing nothing. Have changed fuse and checked the only visible connector in the toilet compartment but no joy.
I can't see any obvious way to get at anything else. Any ideas?

There's a little circuit board attached behind the press button .... prise away the front and check the cb is still attached .. this gets pushed off with over enthusiastic pressing of the flush which means the micro switch is no longer in contact with the button.

Thanks. Have just been and tried that and no luck. At least I can no see inside a bit more. Tried short circuiting the switch (with the end of a kitchen knife) but still not working.
A bit more investigation when I get back home next week.

When ours stopped working it was the actual fuse holder that was so corroded that they could not be bridged by the fuse.

Check the continuity.......................I cut the wires and fitted a whole new fuse assembly.

There is a fuse holder in the cassette tunnel on my van. Pain to get to but is that ok and do u have a supply to it.

When our van loo flush failed it was a supply problem.

Can't see any other fuses at the moment. It's a Thetford C260 model. Will investigate when we get back home and until then we'll just have to flush with a bottle of water. Sometimes the simple way is best!

OK I'm gonna be the twat and ask the obvious question. You have got the water power button (if there is one) turned on on the main control panel?

Use the shower to flush (y)

edit - wish I read all the posts before I write something :(

Had the same problem last week, turned out to be a bad connection on the distribution block under the sink. I clonked it putting the washing liquid away.

Thanks. I'll check power supply to control board once we get home and I've got my tester

Have you checked the pump? Mine was full of gunge like jelly from whatever additive had been put in the flush tank.

If you remove the cassette from the van there is a further circuit board underneath a cover which slides out at the bottom at the back and perhaps that's where the problem is.

It can be easy to get wet and corrode if the seal has leaked and liquid has pooled underneath the cassette.

Our pump was jammed with blue crud from putting the wrong fluid in the flush!

There is a great youtube vid of a guy showing how to get your hand into the flush tank, pull out the pump, clear it, and reassemble.

I followed it exactly, and all has been fine since.

I will find the link.

Cheers

Heres the link to the video, very helpful...and typically I had just filled the flush reservoir, but at least it was clean water!!

Thanks for that. Ours is a different model to that but it's certainly given me a bit more of an idea of what to do. Home tonight but got the motorhome booked in for a levelling system to be fitted tomorrow so won't be able to look at anything until we get it back on Friday.
Unfortunately I also need to find out why the reversing camera has stopped working, the fridge refuses to work on gas and to replace the fridge control knob which has broken. And the dam things only two years old.
