Thule single step

Step is clicking when been retracted at the last inch before it clicks in place can anybody help thanks martin

Hi hopefully someone with technical advise will be along soon. I have always read, with the step to keep it clean, brush away any dirt/ gravel that. Can get trapped underneath whilst driving, hope you get it sorted soon, was always cautious using ours as read, some worrying stories about being unable to 're tract the step, so we had fold up step now, but still keep it operational and clean
