Just replaced my 6m awning as the material on the old one was stained and I never really liked the colour of the material and was very pleased that the new one has 3, yes 3 arms. I’ve never come across this before but I assume it will be a little more sturdy in windy weather compared to my old 6m awning which only had 2 arms.
Had anyone else encountered 3 arms?

Can’t see why you got rid of the other awning as it was clearly armless and causing no bother.

we had ours changed 2 years ago and only got 2 arms, just trying to work out from your photo if it will restrict or prohibit fitting the bracing beam that goes in the middle of ours

more support can only be good though (y)

I have 2 ‘bracing beams’ and they fit perfect, the awning is only wound out a little hence why it looks like they won’t fit (y)

that must seem huge when fully open, our 5.5m is plenty big enough (y)

get yourselves a safari room they make great entertaining spaces :)

we opted for the LED strip light when we changed ours, a great decision (y)

I’ve got the safari room, tend to use it when staying more than say a week as the same place, but do agree they make such a difference but more they make the awning much more secure when windy, especially the aluminum clamps which clamp onto the awning material (y)
