Burstner Nexxo
Hi, we have just bought a Nexxo T660 and it has three big buttons by the main door/entrance. One is the electric step, one is for two inside lights above the door. What is the third one meant to do please?
thanks in advance for your help, Jon

Probably the outside light, which may also have a switch on it, currently off, so you can't tell if it's also on the switch in question.

On our Burstner Solano t725, we have this....

Bottom one ...Step

Top one ....handrail & above door(inside) light

Middle one split switch...

Rhs - awning light
Lhs- this is a two way switch that operates one of the overhead lights in the cab so you can leave said light on whilst exiting the hab door in the dark and then switch it off when you are out, and, then on again when you return.

Thanks everyone for your comments. The set up is like the picture above but no split in the switch. We don’t have an external light so I’m still none the wiser, but will ask ypocamp who we bought it off - if I can’t find it in the manual downloads as suggested. Really appreciate the support - best wishes, Jon

Well apart from the obvious answer - what does it do when you press it?
My first guess would be maybe Awning Light outside.

+1

Would be my guess as well.

I will double down on my guess.

The three/four button looka like a standard fitting.

It appears that many vans have a three button switch by the Hab Door, for;

Extending the steps.
Internal habitation lights.
External door light/awning light.

So extended guess, it is for an awning light that is not fitted on your model.

Jon,
I've uploaded a short video on how ours work. We have twin spotlights on a ceiling mounted 12v bus bar . These are independently switched.

If we have these switched on, we can leave them on whilst we go out the habitation door. Once outside, we press the LHS half switch and it knocks off the two spotlights. These cannot then be used until the half switch is pressed back on.

Try putting all the interior lights on inside the MH and then press the mystery switch to see if any go out.

Hi, you have solved it thank you. It was that central light - but the bulb did not work. Thank you, and everyone else for being so kind and helpful. Much appreciated, Jon
