Hello.
I just got my Thetford N3000 series frdge working again by changing the water damaged pcb.
I can't believe there is live circuitry right behind the vent grille.
Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a cover over this? I've searched and searched but cannot find some sort of cover and the new part didn't come with one either.
Many thanks.

I would say yes. most definitely had and needs a cover..

left as it is, it will get damp or even wet..

if you cannot find the cover, I would cut a piece of plastic or rubber sheet to protect it

Thank you. Perhaps I'll fashion one from an ice cream tub or similar.

Should defiantly have a cover and it really needs to be sealed.
I would spray the PCB with tropicalising varnish.
