Thetford N175 fridge/freezer button

Hi
There is a small on/off switch visible between the top of the fridge door and bottom of the freezer compartment door.
Any idea what this is for?
Bessacarr E560, but a popular fridge/freezer in other models.

It is used reduce moisture between the freezer/ fridge divider, which can freeze, by warming it up , , but unless there is a problem with the freezer door icing up it may be better left turned off as it operates via the 12v battery supply.
