We afe currently in Spain and our Thetford N3000 fridge has stopped working on gas and 12v. Not sure about mains as we are wild camping and not near EHU. The error code is 1. All other 12v and gas systems ok.

Does anybody have any ideas or know of a service centre we could visit. We are heading down the med coast at the moment and plan to go via Valencia, Alicante and on south.

Thanks

Try the 5amp fuse
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm still trying to work out how to get the plastic cover off the fuses on the power control unit. Do i have to unscrew the metal cover?

It says in the manual that this fuse is also for the radio but that is working.

Sent you photo of three service centres around Valencia. The fuse is under a cover at the back of the fridge

I found that cover and removed it but couldn't see a fuse. There is a circuit board along the top but no fuse visible. Any ideas. I'm on my way to a service centre but they may not have any English speakers.

English speaking on the phone

So the fridge is now fixed and thanks to tankerpaul especially for all the help. We contracted the service centre in Valencia and a nice lady gave me a number of a closer company in Castellion. When I phoned I was told that no English was spoken and the line went dead. But we putbthe address into the satnav and decided to call on our route south on the off chance. When we got there it looked likemghe place was closed but a technician guy came to the door. With some gesticilatjng and Google translate wemanaged to communicate. He thought it was an electronic fault needing a unit replacing. Few minutes later he was back with the last one in stock! We followed him to an place where we could both park and he installed the new control unit. Twenty minutes later, and a couple of hundred euros poorer (but still a lot cheaper than the quote we got from a UK service centre) we were on our way. Also found the last spot on a free aire nearby.
