Thetford c260 cassette repair

I am in Germany and have a piece of half moon plastic rattling about in the tank, it’s obviously a part from the closing mechanism . The flap in still working although loosely. Anybody know if it’s a part that can be replaced not sure if something has come loose or plastic sheared going to leave till I get home at weekend

You can get a complete mechanism assembly not cheap.

The part can be replaced, however I don't think it is sold separately as a spare.
It is secured with 3/4 screws and probably the plastic pillars are sheared. I have super glued them which got me out of trouble for a short time, but eventually renewed the mechanism. I now carry a spare mechanism.
