Thetford C250 - size of rubber seal

Anyone know if the C250 & C260 rubber seals are the same diamenter, etc ?

Understand that there are different seals for pre 2000 models (mine is 2015)

From memory the additional cassette I bought was described as being able to fit both the C250 and C260. That suggests that they will be the same seals.

Mines a 2014 tribute with a C260 and have fitted seal recently part number 23721 and yes they are the same.

Same problem here. The issue was that the large screw on top is seized solid. Still trying to free it up

When changing mine i had problems with the screw fixings on the holding tank plate which broke off , so needed to fit a new holding tank plate as well but Thetford spares were in short supply and they were not available a couple of months ago so i ended up buying a new fresh up kit. Stock arrived a couple of weeks ago so i now have a spare.

Quick update.

Ordered replacement seal, though took out the mechanism and cleaned in a bucket with cassette cleaner with a toothbrush, including all the areas around the seals and refitted and no leak, so must of been a small build up that was not allowing a perfect seal.

Hopefully this may help others
